Cleava Technologies LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Cleava," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the website at cleava.ai (the "Site") and the Email Template Genius Chrome extension (the "Extension"). This policy explains what information we collect through the Site and the Extension and how we use it.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Contact Form

When you use the contact form on the Site, we collect your name, email address, your message, and the page you submitted it from.

2.2 Site Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as your browser type, device type, approximate location based on IP address, pages visited, and time spent on each page.

2.3 Extension Data

Your templates, saved defaults (such as your name, role, and company), and favorites are stored locally in your browser. We do not receive, collect, or store this information.

2.4 Purchases

Email Template Genius Pro purchases are processed by Stripe. Stripe collects your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your name, email address, and purchase details. We do not receive or store your full card number.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

Service providers that help us run the Site and process purchases: Supabase (stores contact form submissions), Resend (delivers contact form emails to us), Google (analytics), Stripe (payments), and our website hosting provider
Legal authorities when required by law or to protect our rights
A successor business in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

5. Data Retention

We keep contact form submissions as long as needed to respond and to maintain reasonable business records. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings. Purchase records are kept as required for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

6. Cookies

The Site uses Google Analytics cookies only. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. The Site works without them.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict how we use it. To make a request, email privacy@cleava.ai.

8. Security

We use reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Site and the Extension are not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have, we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and update the "Last updated" date.
